The Violin

modeling this violin took almost 2 days,and it
was very challengng and fun,as for the environment
i tried many ideas but prefered to stay with the simple
one,hope you like it and comments are more than welcome

Anyhow, the render and model looks good

As for the scene, that looks fine to me, but you know what would look excellent? A silk type effect.

Hey!
Nice violin. My only crits are that the strings dont seem to be straight lines. Also, on the headstock you can see hard edges, which should be smooth.

Nice work man!

But I think you should use chamfer and autosmooth on some polys like down on the "bridge" and up on the head 'cause you can se the edges very clearly!

But overall, nice work!

its nice but i really think you should add some reflection on it! and better textur, maybe make it look older and add some scratches.
this your blue part in violin are often black, but background is fine...

i really like it man, the modeling is great

the silk effect kage suggested is a pretty good idea, maybe try it
