Working with Realflow Version 3.0.11.0036 on 3ds Max 8

helo there,

I've just joined the forum .....

I've been working with realflow since a year of so.... the problem is that now i'm migrating from 3ds Max 5 to 3ds Max 8... i've used 3ds Max 7 as well but going to jump directly to 3ds Max 8.

The realflow version i'm using is 3.0.11.0036. I don't have the direct problem with realflow software but the SD Loader and Saver and other Mesh related options for making the Mesh from imported realflow bin mesh files. It works fine with all max versions i've mentioned above but 3ds Max 8. After having installed the required files for SD Loader and Saver etc, 3ds Max 8 is just not showing me these modules nor i'm able to make mesh out of the bin files or particles of realflow as mesh option do not appear at all in the drop down list as it used to appear with Standard primitives.... etc. for other 3ds Max versions.

As i've seen realflow 3 works with 3ds Max 8 as well, do I need something else to make it compatible with 3ds Max 8.

Thanx for the time you'll spent reading this query and if possible help migrate to 3ds Max 8.

thanking you

do you have 3dsmax sp 's installed? If not install all of the service packs. IF that still does not work, check realflows web site there maybe a needed patch or upgrade.
