3ds max - 3d logo from a 2d image

I want to make my logo 3D. Does anyone know how i could do this? Or know a tutorial that i could use to complete this? Thanks

Draw it as splines, make a duplicate of the shape, make the splines renderable and give them a thickness, this will be the outer edge. Make the duplicate an editable poly and extrude it, this will be your middle.

The tree shape could be done the same way as the middle section but it's prolly easier to photoshop that shape and use it as a displacement map for the materials.

Here's a very quick example using those methods. Is this what you're after?

yea, thank you. I want to make maybe the middle pop out a little in a roundish way. So it looks like a ball maybe. And make the tree pop out about 1 or 2 inches

yea, ill have to try this on my day off.. Should i just put a half sphere in the middle?

I think he is refering to the spherify modifier. I'm not sure if it would work well or not as I am not very good at using any modifier other than meshsmooth.
