my "turtle-doves"
hope u like these 2, modeled in max8 and rendered with vray...i would also like to specifiy that the beach photo used as a background for the beach render was kindly given to me by Billy Manso a.k.a *SINNN*...so the credit goes to him for providing me with a quality image.

I thought turtle doves were actually birds? Oh well. They look cool anyway. Fantastic materials.

Well done, great scene and renders.
The little objects in the beach scene like the coke can, ducky, bucket & spade etc... look so cute almost like dolls toys :P |

@Mystikos, turtle doves are indeed birds, lol, but as far as i know they are also a symbol of love and peace. as u can see, i modeled some turtles, but not just "some" turtles, if u haven't noticed already, it's a HE and a SHE...and they're supposed to be in love
u know....a cute and cuddley love ...so that was my intention (also, u can see that in the first render i wrote "lovebirds"...so all in all, i was just playing with the words )@BlackWolf, nathaniliov, the fluffyness (lol ) was made with a displacement map, composed of a bitmap and noise map, mixed together.ummm...sure, why not , if u would like the map/material, feel free to pm me ![]() thx DarkBoost ![]() |

Looking really great, excellent materials and lovely rendering. Also its nice to see a cute scene like this after the everyday cars, robots and such "hard" scenes
