Exclamation Hi All..Need some help in 3D stuff

hi there...

first let me introduce my self...i am a MCSD .NET certified and since i like 3D stuff...i thought to learn it also...

i bought Softimage|XSI 3 RC2 and finished some tutorials also...i am novice user...as i think...

BUT i still didnt understand one thing...hope u guru's tell me...

-Where to start from in a new project ???...i mean there is a character and a floor and a door and a table and and and..alot of things...where to start from??...

i thought a little for that question...in programming we create a class then we declare an object for that class and use it...i did the samething here...create each 3D Object seperatly and then join them in a new scene...is this a right way??...and in a 3D object do i need to do the same thing...like modelling a car's tier then its body and lights..etc..and join them at the end 'merg the objects'...

thanx in advance...and have a nice day..

hey!!
there are many different ways to do things.
if it's workin', then chances are the way your doing it is right.
i would build each model seperately then import them all into the same scene.
as for the car question, i think that's just a matter of preference i think.
cheers!!
