How can I convert a NURBs to a quad mesh in Max?

Hi there,

I have a NURBs object and when I try to convert it into an editable poly it converts it into a triangular mesh, so each face is a triangle instead of quad.

How can I easily convert a NURBs to a quad mesh in Max?

Thanks!

That's what I've been doing, and as you say, it takes far too long.

Whenever I get nurbs objects they're from clients and other external parties. I don't start my own models in nurbs and convert them to poly.

So is there a way? If it isn't possible, I'd still like to know.
Thanks
