Eva Images

Hello all was inquiring about when I open up my Start.max file with the reference images setup I notice that on my 3DS max 8 that the quality of these images are very low compared to the actual images in the folder and compared to the tutorial movies. Is there a setting to adjust these picture quality? If anyone knows I would appreciate the help!

Hello Willpower,
Try this :

1. Open max and go to Customize : Preferences on the main menu bar along the top.
2. Select the Viewports tab and then on Configure Driver tab at the very bottom.
3. Now check the two tick boxes " Match Bitmap as Close as Possible" in the Appearance Preferences.
4. Click on OK and then open the max file again.
When you zoom in the image should be of a higher resolution.
Hope this sorts out your problem,
Cheers,
Rich.
