Personally i don't think we will see 3d actors replacing real actors for a long while yet. We are starting to see the stunt men replaced more and more though.. maybe thats the way it will go .. who knows.!!
The real advantage of 3d is in replacing the stunt crew though right now as the 3d actor can be made to do a whole lot more than any real human could.
IMHO that is

I dont think 3d actors will ever replace real actors. First of all, I think the hardest thing to simulate a real actor is the human error, where as a 3d actor doesnt have, either in the movement of the body or facial movements.
Also, when you look at a 3d actor (and you know its 3d) you are going to look for details on the figure, noticing every little detail where when you watch a real actor you just exept him as he is (eg a little cut or rinkle on one ear or on of his eyes a little lower than the other)...

...i guess

As said before in the thread i also think Real actors cant be replaced with CG may be difficult or easy to simulate. Because real is always real and no one can beat or replaced but think few things if happen

Like what critique writers will do because performance will be good mostly in all the films and same. And may be real actors have to reduce their charges so anyone can hire them
