I like the first one better, the second one is too bright

Indeed the first one looks better.
Maybe because of the shadows over the bike.. it gives a more realistic feel. The colors also help a bit.
You could try using the second image's lighting(with not so bright lights) and some ouside sun lighting.. that would look really nice.
