outdoor scene.
i am trying my first outdoor scene. i usually model mechanical things and what not, so, trying to push myself... tell me what you think so far.
heres my progress; I thought i'd challenge myself, and try to do some organics. heres my progress... the grass was hard as hell to do made the terrain with displacements and some masking maps... ![]() got the basis of the grass, which took way too long... too thick, though ![]() thinned out the grass... made it look better imo ![]() shortend grass and adjusted colors. ![]() decided i wanted it more cartoony, so lengthed it again, tell me what u like better... and now starting to decorate the scene... ![]() rearranged my scene a bunch, still got a lot of stuff to do, and some things are off, like the yellow in the center of the flower ![]() and this is where i am now; ![]() i plan on adding more plants and what not, and then maybe have some hills out in the distance. |

its looking really nice you know
![]() The grass to make it more realistic, could do with slightly darker greens, as that'll improve the overall look. As well as that, try and map the ground more to improve the texture quality.

Looking good. I don't really like the rock in the foreground. It takes up too much of the scene and its mostly shadow. Keep going!
