creating sand

Hello

I'm trying to create a tv stuck halfway in the sand. How should I make the sand? I'm messing with PCLoud right now but it's not looking good. Does anyone have ideas?

if i were doing that. i'd probably either poly model the base sand or use a finely tuned displacement map on a dense mesh. and then place the tv inside. after that i'd probably put some particle systems around it as if the sand was blowing up and around the tv lightly.

good luck

wouldn't in this case boost the polycount to millions (at the render stage) ?
