hi friends
i have made a 3d model of a cartoon type dragon and i want to animat it but find problems to set animation and dont know the proper way so any one can help me please? and if you want max file and image then tell me plz. Thanks |

I don't think you can animate much with just the model alone. After you have finished your mesh, you will need to...
1) Create the underlying bones structure for the dragon. For example, bones for the spine, neck, head, feet, arms, tail and the wings. 2) Apply a "skin" modifier over the mesh and add all these bones in it. There will be a lot of tweaking here to get it deforming right. 3) Finally, you can just simply key those bones and animate away! If you are still stuck, read the "3ds MAX Tutorials". I am pretty sure it will have everything you need to know. I hope this helps.
