Speed Painting Challenge No. 57.
Speed Painting Challenge no. 57. starts now and ends on the 19th of Decemeber. 06. Tuesday.
Topic: Ruins. u can inco-orporate that in a landscape or just go for a close up of some ruined villa, castel, building etc etc. in my personal opinion, ruins in some landscape with some dramatic sky would give it a real nice mood, but go ahead with what u think would be best to show your stuff. its all upto u... .u can start working and posting, u got time till the 19th of dec. voting starts after that. Imp: only those who take part by submitting their entry/work are allowed to vote, other votes wont be counted. each person can submit upto 3 artworks and please do remember to mention your final, votable entry. Rules: http://forums.3dtotal.com/s...ead.php?t=24525 best wishes everyone... .

Excellent waheed! The topic seems interesting as well as the final rule. The competition will prosper with less spam and more meaningful dialogue.

Waheed, is it have to be ruins of a building?
Can it be other stuff... like vehicles?

Hi @ all.
very cool topic (actually I´m not quite good in landscapes - but on the other hand I should practice them) @ Cartoonera: very nice picture and very fast! Although the textures (or filter, or brush) of the water and the clouds are looking quite odd. @ Alletun: Man you know how to paint landscapes. I love this foggy mood. That´s a great picture! |

Hi, Friends.
I hope everything is alright. Here is my first contribution at this Speed Painting Challenge Nº 57. PhotoShop CS. 45 minutes, with mouse. My ruins are very simple: Ruins of the nature. Three stones indicate one lonely place. At the back one field ploughed indicate human activity, but distant. I hope you like it. Thanks Jessie Rivers Independent Republic of Mordor |

Hi everyone!
Here's mine ( all fictional ):These are the old remains of the ancient City of the Mountains, shattered by war thousands of years ago, nothing remains of it other than shadows and ruins that tell us the story of a once great and beautifull city. Travelers pass by it sometimes and listen to the story, and wonder at how things went so wrong for this city, just like the traveler we see in the painting... Edit:here's a link to a better quality image: http://haithamart.orgfree.com/ruins.htm ![]() Photoshop, almost 5 hours Cheers! Last edited by HA-Jassar; 13-12-2006 at 06:37 PM.. |
