Threedy Speedy Animation Challenge, Comp #18 ---***(Spider Man)***---
![]() _Spider Man_ The idea, Alrighty then, this is a 3 weeker, I think. I want all of you to think of a motion that Spider Man would make. Ok, now animate it. This can be as simple as a flinging his web, crawling around on a wall, or hanging upside down. Use props if you need/want to. If you want, add music. Have fun with it. If you don’t have a Spider Man character to animate, you might be able to find one on the net(let us know you didn’t model it). Rules - The due date is December 31st, (three weeks from now) a Sunday 12 midnight (GMT). Voting will be on that following week. Post your final entries in the Final Entry Thread. - Minimum animation: your animation needs to have one (1) motion, two, if your bored. - - Recommended screen resolution in 320x240 (you can do 640x480 if you want, but why would you). - You can post W.I.P.s but you are only allowed one complete entry. That link is also final. You can and should post your wip’s to get help. - Websites where you post your finals is up to you. - Remember, it's about animation, use your time for animation, not to get the best render possible, unless you can afford it. - Use of plug-ins not allowed. Must be key framed (hand animated) - Try to use QuickTime. It will allow everyone to view your hard work, plus it gives everyone the chance to go through your animation frame by frame to see how you did what you did - You must post a render of some sort with your final entry post; also include a screen grab with key frames. - Voting will be as follows - - Vote on what best displays the motion - First place (3) points Second place (2) points Third place (1) points Good luck! yeah, the challenge's don't get much attention, which is why the guys on top don't bother with front page plugs.
If we are lucky, 5 or 6 will enter/finish. Me on the other hand, I'm not too sure. With the low poly contest and then family comming in town for a week. That leaves me with the rest of this week and then the last week of December to get both done. |

Does it have to be an actual spiderman figure or just a guy in tights?

it doesn't have to be a guy at all. It could be a naked lady. I just want to see a "spider man" movement.

ha-HA!
BiG ToE you're a genius (more so)! You've finally discovered how we can draw more people to the animation challenges and get on the front page as well! New rule: all characters you animate must be naked ladies! |

Yep, a smiley. SO WHAT!?

So many keyframes, so little time...
![]() I´d like to take part in this but I´m already overloaded with work and other stuff.

Lmao! That would be awesome.
On a different note, I think I'm going to have to sit this one out. A lot of my 3D/Maya time is currently devoted to a project I'm doing for school...I've got a good amount of prop modeling to do! I wanted to work on this one though, so maybe we'll do a similar style anim. comp in the future?
