I actually modeled this for the Speed Modeling Competition. I think it looks nice to post here.
The bugle was modeled by lofting a NURBS curve, then editing the control points in the loft deformation curve., then deleted both end caps & added a shell modifier.
The design is completely my own
The santa hat is simply polymodeled & a V-Ray displacement modifier applied to it.
I'll be adding some more objects to the scene soon
