Mr Carebear

Hello all this is my first low poly model which is a bit of practice for assignment I have at Uni.

He's a bit of a sinister guy with fondness for carebears.

Any crits and help welcome as I trying to learn as much as possible before I attempt to add a character to a game engine. The engine i will be using has a very low poly budget. On just over 1500 so far.

Thanks in advance

Here's my concept sketch:

And the model so far:

Hey, nice concept Meekon. I would say slim him down a bit. atm he has a lot more weight on him then in the concept.

Thanks for your comments. Yeh B-E4sy he was even fatter before, i'll slim him down some more as he seems to be still a bit bulky like you said. Will post some updates tomorrow when i have time to work on it again.

I think a few more bears would make it look more interesting.

Hmm yes i agree i was planning on adding more toys and things he remembers from his past when I have the time. He has the mind of a child, kind of sloth from the goonies style. See what I can think while i am texturing, Thanks for your advice Stationmiek.

Head looks good! Not sure on the mouth though, but can't really see it.
Model and texture are looking good anyway.

Thx StationMiek. Gonna try and do some more today. Was thinking maybe some child's welly boots for this guy seen as he wears what he can salvage from the wreck of Chernobyl. Got a major hangover so will see what happens
