ila solomon - Dominance War II

Hello everybody, first time here, used to be a cgsociety member, consider me as a traitor now! because I do LOVE machines and its more than few years that I haven't participated in any online-for-fun-contest-with-machine-things since MachineFlesh (cgchallenge), so, here I am! wish you all luck.

i really like the idea of the large body/small crawling legs... however, it looks maybe a bit off-balanced, but i understand these are concepts :]

as cool as some of them seem, some of them look a bit 'cartoonish' and probably wouldnt stand up (at least look like it stood a chance) against some alien or somethin... when detailing the concepts, maybe put a few more sharp edges, a bit meaner growl? just suggesstions :]

cant wait to see progress!

Haha, yes, cartoonish, my favorite! ... anyway I'm going to try some more realistic (yet fantasy) style. stay tuned ...

I love the concepts man! Awsome style!
"Apparatus Infernus" is the best one yet, IMO.
Do some more!

Thanx everybody!

a quick update, practicing the proportions, well, since its a machine, why not enjoying the advantage of having four legs for more stability and performance?!

I really like it. The old looking pipes and tanks give it a nice "feel". If the textures have a lot of chipped paint and rust stains, it will pull together the look even more. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
