Render Smacked Dominance Wars
Hi all...
Ok, so I'm kinda new here as far as posting goes, this being my first post ever, but have been visiting 3D total for some time now..great site! I saw word of the dominance wars and figured this was just too good to miss out on. So here is my concept... I'm not gonna go into so much detail of the story behind it just rather to explain the feeling I'm going for with this creation. The initial thinking behind it was the NS - 5 from i Robot, I wanted to create a robot that is sleek and fast. I'm trying to avoid the whole big guns thing cause in the end a knife in the back is as deadly as a 2000 megaton warhead, as far as the one dying is concerned. I then decided to try add an avian look to it, sort of reminiscent of the Egyptian god Horus but that didn't work so good So I lengthened the head a lot and am pretty happy with the result. My only concern is that it might have become a little too much like a zealot from star craft. However I'm pretty sure that will get fixed up when I start texturing.http://forums.3dtotal.com/attachment...d=105213&stc=1 concept.jpg Also I've added my current progress in 3D C&C always welcome http://forums.3dtotal.com/attachment...d=105214&stc=1 Pic06.jpg |

Cool concept. I think it looks quite different from the zealot from StarCraft. Keep it up.
