McGreed - Dominance Wars II

I'm planing to get some time and join this challenge, but have a couple of ideas I wanted to get some inputs on first.

The plan was to make an 3 legged character which primary objective are artillery, BUT my question is this: When I place those legs, I noticed that most place the 2 legs in front and one in the back, but since it's an artillery kinda of thing, wouldn't it be more reasonable to place the two legs behind it, so it keeps it balance while firing, and makes it more stable?

Hey, welcome to the best army since the meatbags invented the wheel!

Since it's an arty machine, i think the two legs should be in the back, that way it deals with the recoil better.

Good luck with your entry!
