Question from Christian Kim - Does it work with VIZ?
Hello there!
I have been using MR at office for sometime now, but as our firm is architectural firm never really had the chance to delve into the depth of MR..and this plugin really looks like the thing I was looking for, simplified MR, with all its power (well i hope at least most of its powers) . But I have a few questions before I make the purchase. 1. Does it work with VIZ? I think our office is using viz 2006 2. Does it incoporate lume meterials is well? what I found hard about MR is not just the settings and lighting but also the materials. Thanks |

Quick Reply
I have to admit, Christian- I do not know if BlueCherry is compatible with 3dsViz. I will look into this, along with compatibility with 3dsMax7. Expect a response within 2 weeks. Regarding lume materials, BlueCherry does some work with incorporating them into the interface. For instance BC will unlock the glare(lume) shader allowing you to use glare effects in your images! Unfortunately, it cannot assign glass materials for you in order to create caustics. Ambient Occlusion is also lume based and automatically done for you.
