Hey, I love the car, and the paint job.

But on the second picture rear-view mirror looks too big. What happened there.

love the car.
but if you are going to put antartica (?) or some snowy place the car/tires gotta show that. no car is CLEAN in an enviorment like that!
The second one makes more sense to me in terms of cleaness.

so your saying, in the snow, a car with no snow on the wheels, no slight snow on the car itself, or no tracks in the snow is ok?....except it isnt...

I totally agree with Lockdown you must show some snow on the tires. And some reflective and raytraced maps will also do some good.

I was thinking of putting some snow on the tires or the car too, but in the real picture, it doesnt have snow on the car.

Oh yes they are in brochure shots

the cars arrive in containers and are rolled into position, usually they are then raised off the ground and all the wheels are aligned perfectly, then the tyres and every other bit of the car will be cleaned meticulously.

I have a friend who works on car shoots and it can take up to 8 hours just to get the car ready assuming the weather and everything else is perfect - these photo shoots are planned with military precision.

Thankx andy, i never knew they have to prepare so much for just those still shots, I wonder how long it would take for making a car commercial then, they all look so clean its almost like mirrors.

Some of those cars are CG, so no wonder they look like mirrors. In real life, on standard production cars, paint is rarely so smooth. jus look at it on the street.
