problem with eva wild dvd 1
i recently ordered all three eva wild dvds, and i've gotten as far as lesson 3, section 2 on the first dvd. however, when i try to watch the video for lesson 4 (section 2/04_movie.swf), it's really small on the screen... maybe 50x50px. only two lines of audio play and then it cuts out. when i right click on it, it says "movie not loaded". i've tried just loading up the swf file itself, and it does the same thing, but at the proper size.

Hi,
This query has been put forward a few times before. The movie is fine, but the browser tries to play it at 32x32 pixels in size. You can view the movie at full res buy opening it from the 'swf' folder whilst exploring the root of the DVD. Please let me know if this helps. Ben |

hi ben. unfortunately, i'm still having problems with this lesson. i've forged on ahead using the text tutorial as a guide though, so it's not such a big deal. we spoke on the phone and you sent me a new dvd out... unfortunately, i get the same cutting out problem with the new dvd too. would you like me to return one of them? haven't got much use for two copies of the same dvd.

Hi,
Dont worry about sending them back. I can only assume that it is a system conflict with our DVD. The movies work fine here on several computers. Have you tried the DVD on another computer. |

yeah, i tried it on my mother's computer, and had the same issue. it's no big deal. fortunately the text version had enough information and screenshots that i was able to puzzle out what needed to be done
unfotunately, i forgot to back up the scene file when i reformatted and reinstalled windows on my pc >.<. |
