Ooh, I mite do this, just for a laugh, so ehhh, count me in
What kinda theme is it again? Fantasy? So elves, dwarfs adn the like? I'll see what I can do? Is there to be no shading on the first drawings? This should be fun. So whats the prize? ![]()

Hey dudes
Ever666, nice of you to start the thread. I was wondering , do we just make the head of the character or do we mak the entire body with clothes and stuff. My personal favorite is off course only the head, but I guess that is not really a challenge any more. BlackRobe: You are right, we are going to do some dwarven, elven etc creation ![]() . If correctly the first drawing should be shaded. Oh yeh there is a price you can win, experience it is called ![]() . Maybe Tom wil sponsor this competition ![]() ![]() Greetz Max4d

Character: Ice Troll
Hey dudes
I have been busy making an icetroll for the competition me and ever666 are making. I would love to have some comment’s on this one. He may look a bit to much human, but I didn’t draw fangs or other stuff like horns. So please give some good and harsh comment on what to improve. Greetz Max4d

looking good max 4D, now we are talkin!
now dont mess it up with funky shading! look at comics and pictures and real life, and see what the shadow really look like! the line work is way better than previus stuff you've done tho! |

Bimdur Nahduriath
hey guys
at first i wasn't going to enter but i know max4d would really like me to, and since i was trying to work out one of my characters anyway, here's my chance to share my work and please max at the same time ![]() i play dungeons and dragons with some adults i know (i call them this since they are around 26, 35 and 41 while i'm 16 ) and ireally like the character i'm currently playing with, making me eager to visualize him and probably help him work his way to 3D he's really an alternative character, sort of going against all d&d common theories it's a so called Wild Dwarf. He was abandonedas a baby, almost starved to death until a young elf woman found him and took care of him secretly. Secretly because her elven community was at war with a dwarven clan at the time. Keeping him secret for years she raised him with all her love until he was 8 years old, when one of the elven elders found out about him. They were both cast out and abandoned to survive in the woods. Sacreficing most of the food they could get their hands on to the dwarven boy, the mother died of starvation. The tough kid managed to survive on his own though, and has now spent most of his life hunting and sneaking around the woods as a Ranger. This whole traumatising experience supplied him with part great fascination, part hatred for the elven race. His name is Bimdur Nadûhriath, and his alignment is 'chaotic neutral'. As you can see, his name is part elven, part dwarven. I really want him to come out into visualisation with the right feeling. I want him to look very tough, very much on his own, savage, and with a slight magical touch. You can see his evolution until now, going from the left to the right, i'll be updating this later. Note that this is a composition, I didn't actually draw these 3 right next to each other or something ![]() hope you guys like it so far, sorry for the long story ![]() - Stungun |

well I cant draw and I have no imagination. But how about once the best pic is done. they can do some blueprint style drawings and have a comp who can model it in 3D the best? Just a suggestion. I dont know how many people would be interested in modeling it but it could be worth a try.

That would be nice for the people who only do 2D,
but me being a 3D guy also, I would love to do my own character once it's done, and would not really like to see anyone else doing it. But I'm pretty sure there would be some other guys that would like the idea of their 2D being brought into 3D by someone else. - Stungun |
