however it looks a little boxy.
Maybe chamfer some edges and then add a meshsmooth?

It's almost nono_reflective, and plastic materials have blurry reflections. Think abut it.

i tweaked the phone material and this is the best i could come up with. it shows sutble reflections now but it looks a bit like metal, which isn't intended. i want it to look like plastic, any advice anyone?

Just do as i said in my firts post and the add a small specular.
