Photo Recreation

Hey all, Kvachon here. Ok so for my new project I wanted to re-create a photograph of my old college appartment. The olny photo album i could find of the house was from a party one summer. so everyone is out of the porch, and, well, dressed for the weather i guess you could say.

Your welcome 3D guys. and im sorry chester st. girls, if for some reason you find this.

ok so here's the pic:

and here's the 1st render i know the time of day is wrong. but im just using day time to test render:

and i gotta say about the render. I never knew how nice just colored meshes can look. i mean im using 3ds 9 and mental ray. but the geomatry doesnt even have so muchas a clay material on it. its the the object color. looks better that most of the commerically available exterior building renders i see

ok so i did some research into the style of architecture used on the house and came up with this
Quote:
Bernard Steuer's house at 67 Chester Street in the Gardener Street area represents one of the most ornate Queen Anne/Colonial Revival houses in Allston-Brighton, a fitting show place for a leading real estate magnate.
so now im going to try and find a Queen Anne or Colonial Revival house that looks similar to mine. hopefully ill find a page of some lady's photo vacations to queen anne town usa or something...
