SMARTies

I just finished working on my new project. Everything was modelled in 3Dsmax 5 and rendered in Brazil. I hope you like it.

BTW: this is not a real or official commercial for Smart or Smarties.

Wallpapers (1280 x 1024) are also available below:

the paint on the cars look funny. When there is a reflection of another car nt he paint, it is shiny and relfective (as on the side). But when there is nothing beeing reflected , the paint looks flat (not shiny and reflective) I think this would make the cars look more realistic

Thanks for all the wonderful critics.

synkornizer: I might animate the whole scene, and make a little commercial out of it, but only if I have some spare time.

Torlok2002: I used Braizl's default Car paint material. I think the problem is that there isn't an enivronment map to reflect on the cars. But I think It's cleaner this way, and looks more like a studio shot and therefor a commcercial.

Each car has 37472 polygons.

Here's a wireframe for anyone interested

[hQk].$+34]{Y: if by invented you mean modelled, in that case yes. But the car was invented by the.. uhhhm... the smart company I guess... it's a European car, ment to be more effecient and "Smart".

nek11man: I used 3D Studio Max 5 to model evertything and set up the scene, and the rendered everything in Brazil using a skylight. Render time for 1280 x 1024 is about 25 minutes.
