Speed Painting Challenge no. 62.
Hi guys, I hear you are all in need of some speed painting goodness. Waheed is missing from cyberspace due to some horrid virus. So I will be stepping in here to assist and maybe get back in touch with a art form that I once enjoyed so much.
Being that I am the "noob" around these parts I think it best for us to introduce our selfs, What better way then a: Toipc: SELF PORTRAIT this was done as the very first of these great speed challenges way back in 2004!!!! Medium: Any and all; pencil / paper , air brush, oil, water color, chalk, computer (painter, photoshop, paint brush ) , etc. Just no photos with a photoshop filter run over them being that the week is almost over lets set the due date to be Saturday April 7th any time that day is fine, im very lenient with deadlines ![]()

The Speed painting challenge is back! YAYA!
I found the old forums on this topic by accident and there's some very cool stuff in there. I was hoping this challenge was still running and now it's back... Praise be to Threedy and Used! I will be posting my entry soon........ ![]() |

Thanks Used!
no, i do a base sketch, then block out sections with the lasso, and do a gray blotch, dodge and burn technique to get a basic grayscale image, then add detail and color layers. I think the tattoos were the hardest part. If anyone wants to know what I really look like, here are the images i used: http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a345/Hexonal/ref.jpg |

upload it to a hosting site, like imageshack ... then just use the image tag feature in your posting...
