April 2007 - Anteater

Please read the Instructions Guidelines and FAQ's for this challenge first.

Here we go with this months challenge which is designed to be fun, creative and not too intensive whilst giving best entrants prizes and great exposure in 3DCreative Magazine.

This month we go scrambling the undergrowth for some tasty treats! The Anteater...



Here are a selection of Images to give you some good references. The anteater has varying species but feel free to use whatever suits!

Omg this one will be hard, I hope I can have time to participate! :] I'll actually have to put my school project over this in priority but it'd still be fun if I can work on this too :] Need ideas though..

saw this animal before but never paid such an attention to it

Hi, this is my first post on this forum. I'll try to model some kind of anteater knight and try to use this challenge as an excuse to familiarise myself with Max's hair and fur plugin. The modelling will be done in anim8or simply because this is the only modelling tool I'm comfortable with right now.

Here's what I got so far...still roughing out the basic shape as I go along as you can see
