Final Image
Hey guyz,
I'm gonna b pretty busy this week so I've gotta make this my final image I think. This comps been pretty fun, I never would have modeled something like this otherwise lol. Sacek: Great modeling mate, looks just like the concept. Weitastudio: I based my anteater on the first reference pic put up by ben, well the colour at least. I like the look of your model very cute, no crits. Rooky: Mate, the scene looks great but like justus_jones mentioned, the clouds look a bit sharp round the edges i think maybe u could blur them in post, anyway great job. ![]() I'll try to check up through the week if u got any crits for me, I'll try to fix them if I got time, to all who r entering good luck, later guyz. ![]() |

model ready, with a paintover in photoshop
The model, and the texture I want. (not applyed just painted on in photoshop)
The texture is actually very inspired by the first referance image on this thread, the awesome pic with the red and yellow tones. And red is my favourite =D for the end render I think I will rig im up and put him on an antsnest, posing playfully. Watcha think? ![]() Hi Warin, and thank you! =D I was introduced to threedy through an x-classmate of mine.

Hey Kravo, the image upload to the forum isn't currently working there is a database problem that I know forums.3dtotal.com is aware of and working hard on fixing. For the time being you will have to upload your images to a site like imageshack or putfile... not too familiar with most of these so other members might have a suggestion on which is best! Hope that helps and looking forward to seeing your work!

exeM : the camera angle is always a matter of debate, BTW current angle seem pretty cool to me also, as far as texture to AntEater is considered I think its not required looks good, but for your satisfaction u may try some hairs on tail and here there on the body
Luume : Welcome to the competition, you seem pretty well at DigitalArt, liked the perspective 2D view u tried
