So quick question:

The image upload issue has reared it's head on numerous occasions. Do we have
any info on what the underlying cause is ? Or why it keeps happening ?

Long time since I have posted here, but this weeks Challenge looked pretty cool, so here is mine, a fallout 2 scene.
Time used: 120 min on the modeling and about the same amount of time for texturing and lighting.
I am using 3d studio max 8 and this is a default scanline render.

Here is the referance:

mr_lemon - Well Thank You very much, I really liked the scenes too. I'm a big big fan of modelling buildings, my 4th entry is going to be a church/cathedral from Final Fantasy, something on the same wavelength as Rashika's Starter

Kind Regards

Classic Gamer

hmm, omy, yes mr_lemon, you are very right, I made that on my laptop, and I can see now that it's not showing what everyone else is seeing, I have to fix that. Thanks for the comment.

verrry nice entries from all of you!
Was a bit confused at first, exactly which are the games we are allowed to use to get the reference pictures, but now it seems to get more brighter than it was.
Hopefully, will find some time to participate at least with one entry for this challenge
Keep up the good work!!

Now we've got some great images here! I'd like to congratulate everybody who posted (or is going to post) entries, this challenge is already having awesome pictures, hope it reaches page 10 or so =)

ClassicGamer, Great entries, I think you're a bit... Addicted to 3d modelling! Wow, you've submitted 3 entries so far!

misiopuchatek, Very nice entry! It looks like a true screenshot of a game!

Maybe by saturday I'll be modelling something =)

Continue the great job, guys!

P.S.: I wonder MMORPG's are allowed, I think I will make something about Conquer Online ....

KVachon, Wonderful model, liked it so much =)
great job at rendering, too!

Now, my First Entry is about Conquer Online. It's one of my favourite MMORPGs, and also one of the funniest ones I've played =)

I liked my model (I wanted to complete the scene, but the time was up...), but I think I've failed at texturing... Well, anyways I'm happy with this, and I think I'll make another one =)
Not today, though...

Edit: Forgot the Reference =)

well, my first time posting in a speed modeling challenge (that *hasn't* been DQ'd - SMC shopping cart :P). I am moderately happy with the modeling but cannot texture for a damn, enjoy...
