victorribeiro: I love those two hats on the snail shell salesman. Nice concept. Those shells are some beauties. Great shape.

dreezle: superb work, the rain is a great final touch - great mood.

Great array of concepts all around. I am so impressed with the caliber of work on this forum. You guys know how to raise the bar and make it quite the challenge - unbelievable. Great work everyone!

I am out of time and haven't been able to do work on this for a week - disappointed, but I cannot wait to see what the next subject is. This contest really inspired me and put my creativity to work. I am having a great time working on my snail. Will post my guy to the completed works forum when he is all done.

Hello everybody,

This is my last update before posting the final image; I'm showing the texture work that I did and maybe the shot in the scene might be similar to the pose already done in the bigger image.
There still needs a background and work on the lights a little more, but I hope I can finish it on time...

hello...so the guidelines say that you have to post your final image before the end of the months GMT. I looked GMT up and it is 2:50 pm GMT right now. But the this website says at the bottom that it is 8:04pm GMT+1, which doesn't make any sense...

Am I right to assume that timeline the finals are due, is the GMT, which I looked up...which means that the finals are due in 9 hours?

Hi everybody!!!
finally I end my snail.
I will post an image, well a collage, in this one, I haven't decided the final textures.. I have a lot of doubts.
Then I decided a soft textures more pink... hahah. The idea was a sweet snail, a dessert, but there was something that I didn't like it
So I decided to change everything... hahaha
and make a Snowy Snail.
I think is more beautiful. it's simple and i love the idea.

yeah. Snowy snail will be my final image.
i tried to submit it with a better resolution, but it doesn't permit it, 'coz
a message tell me it must be 100kb, whatever...

What do you think??

lechuzaviajera: The image limit is 100kb if i'm not mistaken. You can post a bigger image by uploading it to another domain and put a link to your picture in the forum. Just use the "insert image" button in the message field and typ in the link.

konceptsketcher: Funny snail. It looks like you made a snapshot of him and he's surprised.

Voigtlander: too bad you couldn't finish your work. You started of fantastic.

Zyrinx: If you find the time. Maybe a simple backdrop and a texture on the salt bottle?

This is so cool. So many awesome entries! Voting seems to be very tough again!

Actually this was finished before more than 2 weeks already, just wasn't quiet sure if it counts in the stylized snail category.. because of that environment.
Anyway I`ll post it here before the deadline comes, so if this is allowed though, the I`ll be able post it in the finished work thread too.
