Cool Creating Realistic Skin shaders - free videotutorial!

Hi there guys, howdy? Well, I finally managed to bite-off some time on my vacation to do another FREE videotutorial for you all!

Here's the short description:

Cebas asked me whether I could do a tutorial on creating realistic skin in their finalRender Stage-1 R2.0 after seeing some of my test renders (some o them can be seen below this text) on the beta forums while we were testing the new fS-FastSkin shader which comes out in the new finalShaders 2.0 package. It's a great, fast and very easy to setup material, or rather a material container, so working with that is really easy. I did the videotutorial, which is around 40 mins., rather than focusing purely on the fS-FastSkin material, more general and artistic in a way. Of course I explain how the material works but I also go deeper in the subject and talk about general principles and techniques used for skin shading in advanced renderers. The shader, you'll be able to create after seeing this video, can be very easily applied to any human body part, incl. the whole body. As for the videotutorial, it is provided to you absolutely free of charge, but since it took some valuable time to make and it actually costs some cash on the traffic, I put a bit of advertisement in there. I believe it's a fair trade to support the training DVDs of mine.

EDIT: I've uploaded a preview for those who aren't sure what to expect on YouTube

Here's the link: Creating realistic skin - preview

Some pictures to show the model it was demo'd on and the final shader you'll end up with:

Oks, less talk, more trainig, here are the links to get the video from:

- RapidShare (mirror) 85.6 MB (please, use this one, if possible, to save us some traffic, which isn't cheap)
- ShareCG (stream) 90.1 MB (you can watch the videotutorial in its entirety over there without completely downloading it to your harddrive)
- JTW server 85.6 MB (this is a direct link to the tutorial hosted on duber.cz - use only if the above two don't work, please!)

I hope you'll like and please, pay a visit to my web site, duber studio, to get more training etc...

cheers...
