how do I make a final gather pass?

hello,

switch on mental ray renderer,
place a skylight (or any other mr light),
go to the render dialog,
there's a tab with "indirect illumination" and a square to enable finalgathering.

be aware it increases your rendertime dramatic!
and there's a tutorial about making good GI (how to light a t-pot) on the 3dtotalsite

in my portfolio the last 6 images contain Final Gather
