Blue Cherry Error messages

i'm running 3ds max 9 productivity booster and service pack 2. when i install the BC 1.5 and attempt to launch, i get an error message.
1. unknown property "photon distance" in undefined and blue cherry 1.5 doesn't launch when i click the button to launch BC 1.5
2. when i click close under BC 1.5 button and re-launch, i get BC1.5 to launch but now i have another error message that reads:

unknown property : "fgdecayslider" in undefined
3. i click OK on the error message and attempt to use BC 1.5 and when i activate global illumination i get the same error message from number 1 above?

no matter how i play with it, it doesn't work.

i'm running windows vista, 3ds max 9 productivity booster, and service pack 2 which was recently released. i read the other threads and have no luck getting this to work.

The header was an ostensible mistake that leaked into the final version. The image is accurate, this is version 1.5 of BlueCherry. It contains all of the changes outlined on the BlueCherry page on 3dTotal.com.

All of the issues you are having are traceable to the expansion pack. It changed the interfaces BlueCherry uses to communicate with 3dsMax 9. When BlueCherry cannot interact with 3ds Max9 in ways it expects, it crashes. This crash makes it lose UI elements (like fgDecaySlider) and internal variables (like photondistance).

I am currently working on a solution to this problem, as per my previous posts. If you would like to hasten this process, you could E-mail me the documentation for Expansion pack 1 at BlueSummers@cmu.edu

Until I figure out this problem, users running Expansion pack 1 will have severe difficulty running the BlueCherry product.

I will post updates as they happen!
