Environment Artist

Description: Are you ready to create some of the most recognized environments in nextgen video gaming? Are you driven to create stunning buildings, roads, foliage, and other assets in high poly nextgen detail? Do you want to be a part of one of the most popular video game franchises in history?

If you are up for the challenge then we want to speak with you.

Your typical day may involve modeling, texturing, lighting, effects, optimization, time management, art and design problems, technical issues, etc. Working with the Technical Director to streamline the environmental asset pipeline. Be able to create a specific style that was envisioned in previous releases of the franchise but add that extra "oomph" needed to take the project to the nextgen level.

You will be interfacing with the Art Director, Designers, Programmers and Concept Artists, from early concept stages to completion of levels. As an environmental artist you will be the main point of contact regarding feedback to current processes, engine efficiency, and pipeline. Your input is invaluable for improve studio techniques.

What you've done in the past:

**We are looking for someone with 5+ years of environmental art experience on at least 2 shipped titles. Next-gen experience is a MAJOR plus.

**Professional experience with Maya of at least 3 years.

**Use of Zbrush or other sculpting programs a plus.

This is a Full Time position with a salary range of $80k-$100k. Paid relocation, Full Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision), Annual Bonus, and other benefits will be provided.
