Smile After the Accident

Here is a scene I have been working on a few days now.
I got inspired by a thread on cgtalk a few weeks ago and wanted to make something like it.

I have made some of it from ref's from a town near Chernobyl, there is still alot to do, but im getting there...slowly

Is that a render or a screenshot? It look like a viewport grab, except for the shadows.
Could you turn anti-aliasing on please?

Much nicer.

I assume you will put some broken glass still remaining in the windows, and some dirt/stains on the walls and building letters?

Some rubble and busted old furniture inside the building would add to the derelict feeling.

Looks like a photo.

Any wireframes? Where did you get the textures from?

I wouldn't have guessed it's a render right away if it wasn't for the ground texture wich is way to streched and pale. Also the textures on each column repeat themselves wich is eye-catchy. I like the scene ideea keep it up.

nice but needs more work...but firs what type of building is this? a hospital?

well you have to work on the textures and the materials...and the grass you should put something on the grass...a broken bicycle or something and make the grass to look like it was used so much times...the aluminium mat for tha rack in front of the letters are really bad but the texture fits well...and apply some dirt and scratches to the wall ad it will be okay...maybe you should also try to make the lightning a liitle more orange to show the after effect of the nuclear explosion...

keep on! thisa will be a good image!
