Hi Everyone, I Hoped to get another Prop for the scene ready this evening. Its not done yet but i wanted to keep you up to date.

Today i was walking through my backyard and saw an old vase laying there. I got is as a gift from an old lady that had died few years ago. I actualy liked that vase, but i didn't knew what to do with it, so i put it somewhere, but my father took it and layed it in the garden as a sort of artifact, and i never noticed it untill know. The rain made it a little bit green and that was what i was looking for... I took all the pictures i needed from it as a reference.I Modeled it and made the UV Mapping,. Uv Mapping was again alot of work. Texturing, Lightning and rendering will be up for tommorow, so see yall soon.

Hi Everybody, I Promissed an Update so ill give what i have for the day. Its not a finished prop model. Ill continue modifing it tommorow but i hope this will be good enough for now. Ill just post some perspective shots cause its late and im a little bit tired . Ill give everything i usually do tommorow with the time shedule. Thanks everyone for following this project.

This version is just the vase. I want to make some seapocks on it and perhaps some mussels or weed. I took some photography for the additional stuff, but im still working on the good working first layer of the vase. So its not the final. There may be some faults in the edges cause i made some quick background in photoshop.Sorry bout that. here it is...

So Alright. I Have go to work in 5 minuts but here is the update of the vase. It is going more to its goal now. I Don't really know how to work with zbrush and max perfectly so i just did it my own way. I painted my own displacement map in photoshop again and it works for me. I Have a very simple mesh and can create a cool structure with the displacement. Don't know if you will like it. But at this stage im quit happy. I will continue with working this structure out to see if i can get more out of it.

Tim Shedule untill now For The Vase.

Modeling: 15 Minuts
UVW Mapping: 2 Hours
Texture Photography: Half Our
Texture Painting: 3 Hours
Rendering and Lightnin: 1,5 Hour

Here is the result:

I really like the dramatic texture on the vase. I'm really looking forward to seeing the final scene. My only crit is with the displacement, it seems to be a *little* too much imo. Anyhow, great work as usual.

I could always changed that later on in the project. But the thing is with detail. Detail that is far too much up close, is often much less from a distance. I want to use this vase as a support for a Tabletop. But you perhaps are right. Ill keep it in mind. Thanks for comment.

That's one of the great things about CG stuff. I was rushed out of the room earlier before I was able to type out the rest of my criticism for you. So here goes. I love the dramatic texturing on it, it is very lively. The displacement seems like it's too much, but that being said, It's hard for me to make that judgment without the context of the rest of the scene. Like you said, I don't know how much of an element this vase plays in the final scene. But I like it a lot. I really enjoy your work.

Keep it up.
