Hi everybody, i want to ask something. I made a mirrored version of The Chamber Of Oceans, and i want to know if this version is preferred. If so, ill make an extra movie to show why the mirrored version is better and perhaps the mirrored version will be the final plate in the end.. Please tell me..
![]() Here is the mirrored shot. I found this interesting, because it creates a lot more movement to the scene. ![]()

Hmm, I do think the mirrored version is better. Perhaps it makes the water more evident, and gives the scene a different idea of space. I'll wait for the movie then ^^

Hello Everybody, The Making Of The Chamber Of Oceans is online. Not for everybody yet, but the page itself is online, so you can already check out Part 1 to 4. The Intro will be uploaded when its done.
When you save the files, its best to rename the Videonames to a more normal name. Somehow he adds some numbers to the original files. You can download in 720p quicktime.720 WMV and watch in Half Resolution Flash on Blip.tv. Check it out and tell me what you feel..... Here is The Link. The Video Making Of The Chamber Of Oceans

Hey I just got finished watching all parts of the making of, and had some thoughts I would like to share.
First of all wonderful job on the modeling/rendering/texturing/etc. It is beyond what I personally, and probably most people, could ever be done. People I show your stuff to will not believe no matter what I do that it isn't real....so good job on your part ![]() Second, I love how and where you acquire your textures from. I love how you use what is around you and how everything is natural, almost all of which being referenced of natural items, meaning man made textures are not your game ![]() Lastly, I love what you were saying in the video of how you like to capture nature at its natural beauty and not obstructed by all the industrialization that is constantly evolving around us. I see a lot of good projects completed on here and other forums, but strangely none of the capture nature, most being about man made objects which have little to no sentimental value to we as humans. This past year, my first year of college, in English class we had to write essay upon essay about how we as a society are moving farther and farther away from nature, and how if we continue at the pace we are going, it will cease to exist in the near future. Like stated above I find that to be true, and to have someone as yourself bring the essences of nature back into something so beautiful, is just a refreshing sight to see. I am sure that no one will contest to your work being beyond all that could be imagined, but I think what makes it for me is what you were saying in your commentary about how you observed the natural beauty of water flowing, object decaying over time, natural disasters, and many of things. And for this I thank you for not only some ****ing great renders but also the story that goes along with the making of this wonderful piece. Thank you once again. Best Reguards, Chris "Brinkman" Esh
