Hi Friends
This is my first post in this forum. This image has been previously selected to be part of Max 5.0 tutorials. But then later, i felt that she needed a lot more improvement. This is the latest version of "Venella" as i call her. Venella in Telugu language means moon light. I would like to hear any comments on this work of mine. Thanks Jaykar

Very nice. But too much light effects on jewellery.

Nice model, I agree on the over-use of highlights on the jewelry.
Otherwise great. How bout a wire then?

looks very cool. I dont think you used too much jewlery, its fine, leave it alone very nice model. a wire would be nice. |

Okay... some feedback you were probably looking for.
![]() It looks like her face is all oily, she could use some powder. In other words, lessen the highlight. Maybe use a different shader, like switch from phong to blinn, or the other way around (I get them mixed up). Maybe make it a little easier to make out the hair and its color. The green cloth looks pretty good. As for post effects, it looks like you're using Digital Fusion or something similar. If so, lessen the highlights a little bit and maybe add a little glow with the filter set to highlight. Good work! ![]()

Thanks a lot for all ur valuable comments..... I have reduced the hilites.. now. and as for the oilyness of the skin, i had some ref where the model was just looking like wax model and she was pretty much real life person... So only i took the liberty to keep that kind of look n feel for her skin... I shall shortly post the wireframe also.........Thanks once again. I am in Hyd Jaykar

Great model
I agree with Zytrex about the skin though. But you already said you made it that way on purpose so nevermind. ![]() She seems a little stiff or artificial somehow...maybe it's the pose? or maybe the lighting? anyway, good job.

HI Guys
This is the wireframe of the model.. With lots of polys for jewellery and stuff. I guess it was worth, even while my system was screamminnng. Cheers Jaykar
