Lightbulb Trees...

Ok these are not models yet, but I will make them in the near future. So in the meanwhile you can comment and criticize all you want on these drwaings. They look like ents, but they cant walk or talk even if they have mouths. They will just be stairing at the character all the time and move their mouth in a strange way.

Will be interesting to see them modelled. The first 2 work well, but the third looks a little strange and not particularly tree-like

ok this is the first one, his name is Barney Bark. I'm going to texture him soon, maybe i'll start on it today even.

oh yeah... he is 1302 polygons.. That a little more then I was aming for, but I'm not going to optimize him. I hope to get all the texturing done on a 1 512x512 texture.

Nice! I am a bit confused about the leves. How did you get them all connected? Or did you not connect them and just have hidden polys? If you did connect them did you just do it one by one or did you use a short cut?

Hope to see the others soon. I have a few tree models to do for a game and I have never modeled low poly trees before so your models might help.

nathan 3d: I'm not sure what you mean with levels, but if you are refuring to the, out of geosphere's created, leaf-mesh: I conneted those all one at a time. A real bitchy work...

tykeil: thx Here is more, especially for you

cheers hummingbird.

looking good.
exeot the woody texture, i think it sucks majorly.. doesnt go witht ehf oliage at all.

i suggest 391B0D more of a chocolately colour..

keep up the lovely work.

and whats the trees for?. what kind of game?.. or just for fun?.

i feel like making arcade things now =P
thanks for the inspiration
