Some of my music

Hey everyone.

I'm a Maya user thats why I'm here. I've played drums for 9 years and have a strong musical background and recently i decided to get more into producing.

I'm listening to "when I'm gone" right now, and the melody is good, but I thik you should use more variants with the dynamics. You should try to vary the velocity of the notes. I know its not that simple with the mouse (I don't think you use a keyboard), but it worth's it.

You also could get a better warm feeling with a subtle ambiant reverb.

I don't have much time to crit, but "I think I'm going crazy' seems to sound better .

Nice job, I'll listen to the other tracks.

What software do you use?

hey man

sorry about the late reply, i forgot i posted here :P

yeh your right, i had my mate comment on velocity on the notes too. ive uploaded a couple of songs since, go check them out. theyre different too but i tried to play with the velocity there a bit. i use fruity loops only, i have pro tools but dont like it. i use my computer keyboard to punch in notes :P seems to work a treat for now
