audi advert

i think this could be a potential idea for an Audi banner / commercial / advert. dunno if it has been used before.
the wheels are some older models of mine and they're not 100% technically correct (i mean the ones from the right), but anyways, i hope the idea counts
3ds max and vray + a bit of photoshop

thats definitely a great idea!

theres one crit I have though, namely the rightmost (modern) wheel looks too dark the way it is. I would stick to a normal rim instead of dyeing it black. it looks strange to have this black mass on the right, and also you cant really make out any detail on it. to add to it, Ive yet to really see black-rimmed cars in street traffic.
but that aside, you did a great job! - I love the idea behind it

Great idea sarN is right, the white area is too big, and the modern rim doesn't look like an audi rim, I've never seen that..maybe its a racing rim but I think you should search on the web for an audi rim and the colour of it is strange too, cause black rims are from tuners and races, not stock cars!

ok, i've made some slight changes to the wheels, as you can see
i originally intended for black rims because yes, they're not used on stock cars, but by tuning companies / race teams, which are perfect representatives for the notion of high-tech or progress (and express therefore the words 'progress through technology' )

and also, i didn't model a specific type of wheel (audi for example), as said, i just wanted to present a racing wheel, to show the evolution.

i'm happy with how it looks so far, but now that you've said it, i'm gonna replace that model with an existent audi model and see how it turns out.

thanks again for the comments everyone

Hey man,

Great work very good idea

Only one thing the texture on the wooden wheel ain't right (just the outside ring) i think you should make it beter

Then it is perfect

Ps realy nice work on the modern wheel

Hey good concept but you should make the spheric wheels from the Audi RSQ of the I Robot movie. The same concept has been used for several Victorinox's ad campaings that show the evolution of the knive from a single rock.

Anyway, good Job Man.

thanks for the suggestion Pablo but i'm not sure if every viewer will recognize them as futuristic wheels, or even as actual wheels for that matter
