well, back in my days when i started gaming, stuff like Zelda was the big deal (and still is), games had a lot of quests or puzzles, or where side-scrolling shooters. The Adventure like games kept you busy for weeks, there wasnīt even internet where you could lokup for cheats and solutions. today, any strictly linear game, like cod can be solved by putting a stapler on your x-button and let it go...really, i like cod and everything else that can be played with your brain off after a hard day, but then - when i have time and want to get into a game, i prefer and adventure and something challenging, like silent hill, sam and max, zelda, black mirror ,metal gear solid 1 ect

Here's my PC recommendation for anyone with a Steam account: Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP!
It freaking great! I know that it's been out for iPhones and such, but since I don't have an iPhone, iPad, or any other iDevice (:P) I haven't had the pleasure of playing this gem until now. Also, I'm glad I haven't because I couldn't imagine playing it on such small screens anyway! My laptop only has a 17' screen, but it's beautiful nonetheless. Plus although I haven't tried it yet, I have the option to output to my HDTV and that trills me! Anyway, Sword & Sworcery has been really fun so far. It's an adventure game of the point and click variety. It has a pixel art style and it works in HD very well. Not everything is done in the pixel art style though, so that gives it a unique look that really catches the eye. The sound design and music is also really good. Thunder, water, sheep and even walking all sound natural. The music is by Jim Guthrie whom I admittedly know nothing about. Then again, I don't know anything about most musicians in video games. But that doesn't mean they're not important to the gaming experience. I only mention his name because the his name is right under the title on the main screen! Pretty unconventional to say the least. But he's worth mentioning because the music in this game is great! Super bonus plus is they give you a 27 track soundtrack for free when you purchase the game! Here's the kicker.... all of this is just $5.99 for their SPECIAL PROMOTION! Offer ends April 23rd and then it goes back up to $7.99! Either price is a steal if you ask me! So do yourself a favor and get this game now! ![]() P.S. Here's a link to the page for the game: http://store.steampowered.com/app/204060/

Well I've finally took the plunge and bought an Xbox 360 today with RDR Game Of The Year Edition, Project Gotham Racing 3, Left 4 Dead 2 & Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition.... will be going on amazon and other games shop around me to find great used games for cheap prices, so will probably get Forza 4, Gears Of War, Mass Effect Trilogy, Batman Akrham City (Game of the year when it's out later in the year).
I want to experience multi player games which apparently are great in party mode on the 360 and I can have this xbox in my living room on our brand new LG big telly & even better the router for the internet is in the same room, which has been a pain for my PS3 online experience as it's upstairs in my room. I'm still a PS3 fanboy but there's certain games I really wanna try out that are exclusive for Xbox. I've not bought the kinect as our house is small and slightly clutterred and i've read you need alot of room and just about a bare wall behind you. I hope i'm not gonna be dissppointed..... will buy gaming headphones etc later.

Only played the demo so far on the 360 but Sniper Elite 2 is looking to be a great shooter. I've pre-ordered the PC version on Steam which is out already in the US and out of the 4th May in Europe. Pre-ordering means that you get the kill Hitler bonus DLC for free
![]() Check out some of the videos on YouTube, especially for the X-ray kill shots involving the groin...

I got the bundle for Ģ149 from zavvi which I thought was a pretty good deal, with the other games it came to about Ģ230 and on play/amazon it was about Ģ230 for their bundles with the kinect.... but as mentioned i'm not gonna get the kinect just yet as i'm not that interested in it.

Thought I would link one of the Sniper Elite movies. Caution, rude words and a slightly annoying commentator but it shows the game demo in it's true glory

Maybe, seem slike thatīs th ebiggest issue i have with games these days - i only play Singleplayer. Thats why i enjoyed Metal gear or Rage that much. Kept me busy and Interested all by myself. Even Dirt 2 is so much fun to play alone.
Perhaps its just the style of the game, iīm not pretty much interested in childish characters or puzzles. I need fast paced games, or something epic with a huge story, and something to kill, and lots of noise, like guns or engines. Tetris on the other hand never gets old. Could play it for hours. is there a good version out for PS3

remember Maggie Q, back when we had animation challenges, she was animating textures and bump maps. I think animating a displacement map would be the same thing. Which seems to be the main focus of what they are doing.
