That's definitely part of it. But it can't be that easy, can it? Otherwise it seems like games would already be doing that. (Unless LA Noire was doing it, but lacked the poly count to make it believable.)

It freaking great! I know that it's been out for iPhones and such, but since I don't have an iPhone, iPad, or any other iDevice (:P) I haven't had the pleasure of playing this gem until now. Also, I'm glad I haven't because I couldn't imagine playing it on such small screens anyway!

My laptop only has a 17' screen, but it's beautiful nonetheless. Plus although I haven't tried it yet, I have the option to output to my HDTV and that trills me!

Anyway, Sword & Sworcery has been really fun so far. It's an adventure game of the point and click variety. It has a pixel art style and it works in HD very well. Not everything is done in the pixel art style though, so that gives it a unique look that really catches the eye.

The sound design and music is also really good. Thunder, water, sheep and even walking all sound natural. The music is by Jim Guthrie whom I admittedly know nothing about. Then again, I don't know anything about most musicians in video games. But that doesn't mean they're not important to the gaming experience. I only mention his name because the his name is right under the title on the main screen! Pretty unconventional to say the least. But he's worth mentioning because the music in this game is great! Super bonus plus is they give you a 27 track soundtrack for free when you purchase the game!

Here's the kicker.... all of this is just $5.99 for their SPECIAL PROMOTION! Offer ends April 23rd and then it goes back up to $7.99! Either price is a steal if you ask me! So do yourself a favor and get this game now!

Took the plunge and bought myself a years subscription to playstation plus last week, gotta say so far so good i've downloaded about 6 games so far and two i'm particularly impressed with.

these two games I would have never bought.... because.... I dunno they just didn't appeal to me from the box art or I felt a bit meh about them.

The first is Warhammer's 40,000 Space Marine.... now I'd got this wrong I thought it was a top down RPG and i'm not a real big fan of those games so bypassed it, but as it was free on PS Plus I thought why not..... well i'm seriously glad I did, played my first hour of it last night and wow it's a rocking FPS with crazy good graphics and gameplay.

The 2nd game was for the same reasons as before, i'd seen this in the game shops on the online shops too and it left me cold....... and it was Darksiders, firstly I didn't wanna pay £40 for this game but again another game free on PS Plus, it's a pretty heavy download too at 10GB but wow it was worth the wait. The whole heaven & hell war with earth as it's battleground really appealed to me, plus the character i'm playing has a big fook off sword.... always a pleaser

Other games include Smash Cars (okish) Little Big Planet 2 (okish) Virtual Fighter 5 (not bad) Motorstorm Apocalypse (pretty good) Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath (Great)

My point is if I bought these all together at any retail store (excluding trade in offers) it would come to over £100!

So.... so far this subscription has paid for itself.... the only drawback is that when you're sub is up for renewal and you don't renew the games downloaded no longer work..... but if I love Darksiders & Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine that much i'd gladly buy the retail versions which in a year's time will be cheap as chips anyway so win win for me.

Interestingly enough the majority of games on there at the moment are AAA titles and they'll be there for another 4-5 weeks then two go and more arrive

Oh also got Sniper Elite V2 coming tomorrow for the PS2.... already go it for the Xbox 360 but don't mind double dipping for both consoles, I got really far on the 360 version to a bit with Russians & Nazi's all trying to kill me and needing to blow up a tank, there's a level earlier on to blow up a tank but this is after that too, not got past that yet, i'm more used to the PS3 controller....... and as the 360 is in the living room I can only play it at night or weekends as i'm too busy working in the day or resting my knackered bleeding foot lol.

Yeah. I bought a year's worth prior to E3 because I knew a big announcement was coming, but not if that would include a price hike. So far, I've only taken a single download (Ratchet All 4 One), but my kids seem to like it. With new bandwidth restrictions from my ISP, I still have to pick an choose how much I download, but even if I go over, $10 for the extra bandwidth needed to downloaded 3-4 free games is a pretty good deal.

chime and a discounted Babel.

Got Lego Batman 2 this week & finished the story section of the game earlier today, I've gotta say it's a blooming' awesome game, you've got Batman & other DC Justic League characters & Lego all in a video game what's not to like! There's one particular part without giving too much away that involves The Joker & a huge machine that was just epic, loved every moment of it. The story counts for only about 30% of the game the rest are lots & lots of side missions, savings civilians & loads of events with all manner of character heroes & villains, plus there some great vehicles to unlock, so far i've got the Batmobile, Robin's Bike, The Bat Bike, Robin's Styled Batmobile, Bat Wing, & Harley Quinn's Bike.

I can see I 'm gonna have a few more hours of fun with this game still.

Also been playing a lot of Space Marine, Motorstorm Apocalypse, Darkstalkers, iMac Minecraft in creative mode, Sniper Elite V2, & Angry Birds Space.........all very addictive lol
