The Tower

Hi to all! here's my newly finished work, originally done through manual rendering by some architectural artist and i decided to make my own 3d version, this was done using 3ds max, vray1.5rc3, Photoshop for textures and post process...

That car has its headlights on but it's really sunny. I know it just rained...so maybe the windshield wipers should be moving or something--that way the headlights don't feel so out of place.

apart from that, very nice work. Great atmosphere

The trees look a bit odd though, cannot put my finger on why

That's a pretty old car. I didn't think anyone made daytime running lamps in the 70s.

Thanks for the comment, but as you can see the car is entering a gloomy part of the street and the sun is just starting to show out of the clouds its a transition point and abount the wiper you can see the mark on the windshield and its movement is not as fast because the rain stop i hope that explained it...

Very artistic. I agree about the trees. The dead trees seem out of place.

i think its probably the car's headlights that added a big part of the realism in the scene. very nice composite, especially with the textures. 5 stars from me man. inverni0 i think thats how they do it in that place, they keep them lamps runnin in case of sudden storms. haha
