Flash Movies From DVD Won't Play in Vista

In the Part 1 Modeling DVD for the Eva Series....

In section 2 Lesson #4 Alar Wing And Furrow after about 10 seconds into the movie it just stops.

I can play all the videos fine in windows XP....but this one (so far) won't play in vista. I have tried downgrading the flash player and even downloading a media player for SWF files. But nothing seems to work

Anyone have any fixes? If not I'll just have to make due with converting the flash video to AVI or something....

Got the same problem. Just got the CD today and 04 aint working.
Will do what you say and convert the SWF file into a AVI.

Been trying atleast 5 swf to avi converted and all programs crash or show a white screen on file 04 section 2.
Now did i put the CD into a computer with windows XP and File 04 section 2 wont play.

05.06.07 works.. havent checked the rest but i bet they do.

Any Fix?

Hello Chaoswings and Downup, I'm so sorry to hear there are some problems with EVA DVDs. I will pass your message to Ben Barnes who is in charge of making DVDs and I will also advise him to post his reply here as soon as possible.

Many apologies for any delays in response to the questions and many thanks for your patience.

Regards
Warin

Hi Hermann,
We have experienced this problem a few times so far. I apologise for this but we have no idea why this happens. Here is a link for a file that works. Please let me know if you get it ok.

It didn't work.
Here is what happening.

Same on the computer with windows XP. Even tried many flashplayer programs.. but all gives up.
Looks like it crash when it finish loading the whole movie.

But i am glad that the creator made alot of segments of the full video. Because it was not that big step to file 05.

Just hope the eye part works smooth Thats the hard part on a female character.

Hi,
I have just downloaded the file myself and it works fine here. It also isd working ok with a majority of our users. I am sorry i cannot be much more help here as it seems to be a problem at your end. Have you tried scrubbing through the movie using to control bar at the bottom of the flash window?
