Shoelaces in 3dsmax4
Ok, i tried to do shoelaces i 3dsmax4 with lofted splines but it got all messed up.
I'm just wondering, is there another way than splines to do it, or is splines the better choice? /Jared

Have you tried playing with making the splines that youve put in for shoe laces as renderable, then fidling with the thickness ?
That seems like one solution. |

Well, splines is the most used tool for modelling this type of objects. Though you may find these tuts useful:
