RoboPencil - Well as Daye said and he's absolutely right, the texturing and lighting can take as long as you wish with. Your non entry looks very good though, nice clean mesh building, and thoughtfull structure to it also.

In future posts, click on the "Go Advanced" button in the Quick Reply section of this page your are viewing, underneath the text box you will find a "Manage Attachments" button, click that, and follow the onscreen instructions, locate your final composited entry and upload it to the threedy servers.

2 additional things to note, when you make you're proper first entry that i've noticed from your non entry, make sure that the file size is below 150kb your non entry is currently 208kb, and your allowed up to a resolution maximum of 1024x768 so although you've used 800x600 you could have a lot more room, and be able to arrange with wireframe screengrab even more easily.

Other than that I think your first entry will be great.

Oh and another thing, now you've modelled 1 rocking chair, you can remember how you did that, so you'll be faster if you try it again, and this time change the style a little once you start from scratch again, and I'm confident you'll model it well under the time limit.

I look forward to seeing more from you.

I hope I helped set that a little clearer for you

Kind Regards

Classic Gamer

Classic Gamer - 3D Threedy New SMC 009 ''Rock On'' Rocking Chair Entry #02

2nd entry from me then, a big of a stylised rocking chair, like a cross between a couch and a sun lounger, it'd be nice and comfy either way.

The materials are fantastic new shaders called Eggtion from the C4D section of CGTalk so all credit for these amazing shaders goes to those that made them. I really love the way the chrome and leather came out with these.

All relevant information is on the composite.

Kind Regards

Classic Gamer

Here's mine.. must say I already feel kinda weak in comparison to the splendid entries so far..

This was a quickie since I had school-related stuff to do.
Only the pads for the arms were chamfered for smoothing, the other pads (back/bum) are still primitives.
