greetings to all. hope all is well.

here, Speed Painting Challenge no. 67. starts now and ends on the 25th of October, 2007, thursday.

Topic: Jungle.

a good dense jungle/ thick forest is always fun to paint and see. lot comes in minds when we think of jungle and its upto u how to inco-operate things to make it look real fine. can be a close-up of some area or a long shot. personaly, i think, having a dense, tropical feel, with a painterly look, would be great...

start painting and posting (only finished pieces), voting starts after the announcement.

Been a while since my last post, cahllenges seem to have got less frequent? just thought I'd post my entry and give a few quick comments and crits, feel free to drill my attempt.

Alkaliho: Nice atmosphere and angle, my only suggestion would be textures, if you used them it could create a lot more style in your artwork. And welcome to the forum.

Ludo: Great Lighting, very dynamic angle, good work, and welcome also! what might comment mean?

Cederstrom: Looks good, I rekon the tangled leaveless trees give a dark kinda fairy tale feeling about them.

Artecnl: Wonderful work as always, great all round atmosphere and the works, one day i'll get there lol

kawincfc: Welcome to the forum, I like your artwork it has a very real quality about it, I think its the lighting being so realistic. Nice work.

Good quality entries hope I can keep up the trend, heres mine. Done in photoshop cs in prob bout 2hrs. The forest is underground hence the view.

Oh shame, i have registered with email, where cant be redirected a confirmation email, so i have missed a dead line ^^ w/e registered again on another email,posting out of competition then, just for let you see and critique what i have done for get better next time

push hard on critism, i got like when someone trying to teach me how to do better next time

Software: Photoshop CS2 + Genius A4 tablet, all are default brushes + one edited for leafs
Time: around 8 hours, i'm very curious about details, cant end until i'm not at least 99,99% satisfied
