I'm using max 9 and rendering with mental ray, Im about to render a 30 second animation that will be put on dvd and played on many TVs. What resolution should i use to render with so that it wont be stretched when played on a normal non- widerscreen tv? Last time i used 640x 480 and it looked stretched on a standard tv set, I dont know why. I just need something that will keep me safe on most all tvs. This animation has to be on dvd in a few days, adn im nto comletely done so please..help!
